We will be having 6 groups of FGD on 10th -12th of June 2009. This time around we are looking for female, Chinese and Malay, age 25-34, grad, professional, business owner, manager level, etc, and with personal income of RM3000.

This is a study on the newly launch shampoo called ASIENCE. There are 3 categories:

1) Current user of ASIENCE for at least 1-2 month and have intention to continue using this brand.

2) Current user of ASIENCE for at 1-2 month and have no intention to continue using this brand.

3) Non user of ASIENCE ( user of DOVE, PANTENE,SUNSILK STYLE, LOREAL, AND ELSEVE ONLY) but well aware of this brand ( able to point out from show card, can give info of packaging, price, etc)

Recruit according the group schedule and quota.

All your respondent should bring their current product as to what category you are recruiting them for. i.e – user of ASIENCE must bring ASIENCE on the FGD day and if your respondent is a user of Sunsilk style she must be bring that product on the FGD day.


At the same time I am requesting all of you to do pantry check on your respondent. Meaning, you are required to double confirm on the product and brand of your respondent’s shampoo.

The following in-depth interviews (IDI) will be held at client's research venue. The IDI shall take at most 1.5 hours and respondents shall be accessing some interactive media using desktop computer/notebook and/or mobile phone(s) at site.

This time around we are looking for Male respondent, age 18-29, working and student who have dandruff, scalp itchiness and oily scalp problem. So we will be giving them shampoo product for them to test for 1 week and then come back for FGD. Respondent that are currently use:

Men’s anti dandruff shampoo = shampoo anti dandruff lelaki . For example; Merit men, Clear men and Men head and shoulder intensive solution.
